A no-mix, no-mess alternative to traditional thin-set mortars spreads quickly and easily. Recommended to bond porcelain, stone, marble, granite and ceramic or porcelain tile up to 8" x 8". Can be used with tile with one side up to 15", but dry time significantly increases. For interior wall and floor installations. Use white SimpleSet when installing lighter-color stone and tile. Exceeds ANSI A136.1 Type I. Coverage: 40-44 sq. ft. per gallon using a 3/16" x 5/32" V-notch trowel for tile up to 6" x 6". 20-25 sq. ft. per gallon using 1/4" x 1/4" x 1/4" square notch trowel for tile up to 12" x 12". 14-17 sq. ft. per gallon using a 1/4" x 3/8" x 1/4" square notch trowel for tile over up to 16" x 16".
Polymer modified, Portland cement mortar system formulated to provide excellent adhesion to interior surfaces without the addition of a latex additive. Use to adhere glazed and unglazed ceramic mosaic, glazed wall tile, quarry, terrazzo, cement-bodied tile, high-lug tiles and pavers to properly prepared interior surfaces such as exterior grade plywood and many resilient flooring surfaces. It also offers increased bond strength when adhering to conventional thin set mortar substrates such as concrete, concrete block, wonderboard, gypsum drywall, and existing ceramic tile. Interior use only. Not recommended over cushion resilient flooring, hardwood or parquet flooring, particle board, wafer board, masonite, metal or plastic. Coverage is dependent upon substrate, tile, and size of notched trowel. Average coverage is approximately 2 sq. ft. per lb. Allow to cure 24 to 72 hours before grouting. Clean up immediately after use with water.
A Portland cement based tile adhesive capable of setting almost any type of tile, including porcelain, glass, mosaic, fully vitrified, semi vitrified, and nonvitreous tile, quarry tile, and natural stone (not moisture sensitive such as marble). (For marble tile installations use Henry 316 MarbleFlex Thin-Set Mortar, Model No. FP00316412.) Mix only with water to a creamy, smooth mastic consistency. CeMastic adhesive combines the bonding power of a latex modified thin-set with the application ease of a mastic adhesive. Bonds to wood, concrete backer board, concrete, masonry, drywall, sheet vinyl, terrazzo, ceramic tile, plastic laminates, and cut back adhesive residue. Approximately 20 minutes open time, depending on the substrate and job site conditions. Dries fast, grout in as little as 3 hours. 7.5 lb. box will cover 60 sq. ft. when applied with a 5/32" D. x 3/16" W. V -notched trowel, or 25 sq. ft. when applied using a 1/4" x 1/4" x 1/4" square notched trowel. Ideally suited for all interior tile installations including floor, walls, and countertops. Water-resistant. Do not expose to freezing. Use clean, damp cloth for clean up. If material dries, use mechanical means to remove.
